Storm Update #5
A Message from EPHOA President, Misti Steed
We’ve received an update from Shelby County who advised that Eagle Point residents may place the following curbside (but not in street) until Sunday, April 25th: storm debris that includes trees, wooden fences, and other natural organic items that can be burned. The Shelby County highway department will do their final pick up on Monday, April 26th and on Tuesday, April 27th if necessary. ADEM’s state wide burn ban goes into effect May 1st, and the County needs time to haul and complete the burn. This is a drop dead date.
This will be the final pick up and does not include any household items such as furniture, metal, mattresses, etc. The County will not pick up any of these items. Removal of these items is the responsibility of the homeowner.
